ICS Computing posts jump in profit, plans to expand

05 July 2007

ICS Computing Limited today announced its full year results for the period ending March 2007.

Turnover was up on the previous year from £10m to £11.5m and operating profits increased from £850,000 to approximately £1.3million. ICS Computing, which specialises in HR & payroll outsourcing, accounting & distribution software, and public sector software development, has recently won a number of high profile projects, including the newly developed £6m Northern Ireland Rates Collection Agency System and the £18m NI Civil Service EDRM contract, where together with its partner Steria, it is implementing the largest EDRM contract of its kind in Western Europe.

Celebrating its 40th anniversary this year, ICS has recently completed a major investment in its Perito Business Solutions Software encompassing Accounts, Payroll and Case Management. The company has also significantly upgraded its Data Centre for disaster recovery and hosting services.

Commenting on the company's performance and long-term prospects, Managing Director David Mawhinney said, "The past 12 months have been an exceptionally positive period for ICS. We're delighted to have won several major contracts in the GB and Republic of Ireland markets, and looking forward, our order book for the new financial year has never been stronger. This platform, combined with substantial investment in our new Perito Business Solutions range, means we are now ideally placed to capitalise on growth in our key markets."
