Boost predicted for IT Service Provider
10 August 2007
ICS Computing is predicting a boost in business after achieving a major recognition in Microsoft's Customer Relationship Management software (CRM). As one of the first companies in Northern Ireland to achieve the accreditation, the award is an acknowledgement of ICS Computing's position as market leader with the software giant's latest Microsoft CRM Dynamics V3.
Microsoft Dynamics CRM provides the tools and capabilities needed to create and easily maintain a clear picture of customers, from first contact through to purchase and post-sales. With modules for sales, marketing, and customer service, Microsoft Dynamics CRM delivers a fast, flexible, and affordable solution that drives consistent, measurable improvements in every business process, enabling closer relationships with customers and helping to achieve new levels of profitability.
As Mervyn Erskine, director of ICS's Application Software Division, explained the new programme has the potential to revolutionise a previously difficult field.
"CRM is one of those odd applications that goes back over the past 10 years as a favourite must-have application, but I think in general that it has a success rate of about 19 per cent in terms of getting operational."
"It's an application that requires the whole company to use it in order to be successful and rolling any such application out to get everybody to use it is always difficult."
"This version is the flagship product that integrates fully with Outlook. In theory because the world uses Microsoft Office the world should want to use Microsoft CRM in parallel to that."
"Supplying solutions both private and public sectors, the introduction of Microsoft CRM has been significant in adding to our existing product portfolio."
